Planted with selections from Bricco Fiasco in the early 1990s by Luigi Scavino, Cerretta vineyard is in Serralunga d’Alba. debuted in 2020 with the 2016 vintage.

An explosive energy of Serralunga d’Alba with grace and vigor. Black cherries, wild berries and plums with menthol, sage and saline notes. Pure ardor.

Varietals: 100% Nebbiolo

Vineyard: Cerretta; 250-360m elevation; S, SW exposure; clayey and calcareous soils; average vine age 30 years; 2.5 ha

Farming: Organic

Vinification: Hand-picked, fermented in vertical stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, macerated with submerged cap for 55/60 days, racked by gravity, no fining or filtering

Aging: 30 months in large oak casks
