Azelia selects younger vines (about 20 years old) from its Barolo vineyards to produce this jubilant, approachable Nebbiolo. The young vines grow on idyllic southwest and southeast facing exposures. Azelia vinifies and fines in stainless steel to heighten the aromatics and youthful character. The wine exudes aromas of violets and flowers, with juicy flavors of raspberry, strawberry and red currant. Vibrant acidity and smooth tannins make it exceptionally approachable on release.

Vineyard: Various estate vineyards, SW, SE exposures, 235-340 elevation; white calcareous soils

Farming: Organic

Vinification: Hand harvested and vinified in stainless steel with native yeasts

Aging: Stainless steel
