Kunin Wines, Pape Star
Pape Star is a true-to-type Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend, featuring the classic Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre mix and old world vinification. Following in Seth’s tradition, Magan Eng focuses on picking good sites, maintaining the purity of the fruit, and making wines that are delicious and honest and exciting. The wine is vinified with native yeast and aged in neutral oak. Stylistically, Pape Star is generous, ample and vibrant with bright notes of cranberry, blueberries, warm red cherries with crushed rock, and garrigue. Like all Kunin wines, Pape Star rouge is a versatile and delicious food-pairing wine with a long finish.
